Team Bostic Sweeps Varsity Division of Firecracker Invitational in Austin
Coach Reggie Bostic's players are no longer sophomores. After playing varsity basketball for the past three months and getting about 40 games under their belts, the Class of 2013 are now much more experienced. They'll return to their respective high schools to become the new focal points of many of their teams. As a group they are undersized but they play unsefishly and shoot the three extremely well. The group gearts up for next week's Great American Shootout-Duncanville, TX and then finishes their season at the Big Foot Las Vegas Live Event. (July 22nd-25th)
Did you know: Sgt. (Coach) Reggie Bostic has made a career of being one of Austin Police Department's Finest. The Bostic Clan knows their hoops as brother, Herb Bostic led Michigan State to the Final Four and his sister Rachelle was also a star for the University of Indiana Hoosiers. Herb is also in law enforcement in Detroit, Michigan. Son, Darian (second from left) attends Pflugervlle High School.
