We are proud to check in and see how Nate Velasco of Gregory-Portland (TX) is doing in the college ranks. After a stellar career at GP and with the Texas D1 Ambassadors, Nate is now a sophomore at Lon Morris Junior College, a D1 JuCo program in East Texas. He is the starting point
guard and being coached by Dale Dotson, one of the best in the JuCo biz. He is averaging 15 ppg and 4 assists so in conference play this season. Nate will graduate with his Associates in Applied
Science in May of 2012. He is maintaining a 3.2 GPA. He will be looking to
transfer to a four year school to continue his education and basketball career.

2012 G Collin Hart poured in 32 points as San Marcos won with a strong 4th quarter effort. 2013 G Jahari Wright led Del Valle with 15.
