2011 W Deondre Logan led the Taft Raiders with 23 points, including a running hook over Churchill big man, Mike Byron with 12 seconds left. Dylan Elias had 9. Scott Mammel had 11 for Churchill and Ben Byron had 5 points, 10 rebounds and 5 blocks.
2012 PG 5'11" Scott Mammel already with a couple of 30 point games in the bag in this young season. Not afraid to shoot it from deep. Handles the ball with confidence in traffic. Knows when to pull up for the mid range.
2010 P 6'9" Mike Byron (Gardner-Webb) Byron seems to favor a shot that's a cross between a shot put layup and a baby hook. Likely the product of still getting his footwork in order. You can't teach 6'9" though. He's getting stronger since the last time I saw him and is slowly growing into his body. He's effective near the goal, but lacks the agility to guard smaller/quicker players in the high post.
2011 G Marshall Harris shows nice athleticism. Lefty, attacks the rim with confidence.
2011 G Dylan Elias. Taft guard already has one early D-1 offer in the bag. Shows a nice change of pace off the dribble and can pull up to hit the mid range.
