We've always prided ourselves with recognizing D-1 talent at a very early age and having a great presence of high level youngsters in the D-1 Nation. Past players such as J. Mychal Reese & D.J. Griggs have worn the mantle of #1 in their Class in the country as members of the Texas D-1 Ambassadors. This one's a no brainer though as young Craig Victor brings a mix of size and skill second to none.
Our next great young player and prodigy is a native of New Orleans, LA. He's incoming freshman 6'7" 210lb Craig Victor who will play for the storied New Orleans St. Augustine high school program this fall. Craig laces them up for Coach Greg Holmes' New Orleans D-1 Ambassadors Elite, already playing up to the 17U level. He'll be putting his game on display at Jeff Schneider's Atlantic Slam in Myrtle Beach, SC starting July 8th. Victor will also be in Las Vegas, playing in Dinos Trigonis' Fab 48.
Victor, who at the age of 7 was 5'4" as a 2nd grader has blossomed into an all around talent. He's an honor roll student with a love of math; and likes to pattern his rebounding game after one of the game's great board men and hard workers, in Dennis Rodman. Victor has also been recognized as arguably the country's best prospect in the Class of 2014. He's the son of Ms. Tyra Brown of New Orleans.
