In the semi finals of the Rivals.com/Crush Elite Tournament in Birmingham, AL the Texas D-1 Ambassadors jumped out early and held off a game Mid State Ballers team 92-84. The Mid State Ballers consisted of players from Tennessee and Kentucky. William Nelson led the D-1 Ambassadors with 24 points and continues to see his stock rise this spring. Demetris "Cleveland" Smith was a beast on the boards with double digit rebounds to go along with his 16 points.
