Baton Rouge Glen Oaks (LA) 44 Houston St. Thomas 40 OT

St. Thomas has three incredibly intriguing sophomores; 6'3" Christian Sanders who can bomb it from deep, 6'7" P Aaron Turley and 6'9" Jeremy King. Glen Oaks is undermanned with only 8 players but you can't underestimate the senior leadership which they'll get from G Brandon Thompson, G Andre Scott and W 6'6" Brian Williams (Oklahoma State). Of course a legendary Coach in Head Man Harvey Adger who has a couple of Louisiana State Championships under his belt, doesn't hurt Glen Oaks chances either.

The first half has been low scoring. Glen Oaks holds a 17-15 edge. This one may come down to the wire as they're deadlocked at 27-27 at the end of 3 quarters. 2011 P 6'6" Erron Chesterfield is emerging for Glen Oaks and could be pretty good when all is said and done if he works at it. 35-35 with 3 close as it gets.

In OT a big steal and subsequent layup gave Glen Oaks a 2 point lead. Andre Scott knocks down two free throws and it's in the books. Glen Oaks returns to Baton Rouge with 2 road wins under their belts against Houston competition despite being shorthanded.
