Del Valle Wins Tourney Championship

2010 G 5'3 Joslinn Douglas has to be one of the quickest guards I have ever seen. The senior has great athleticism with thew ability to finish with both hands at the basket. Joslinn can burn you from deep or take you off the bounce.
2010 G 5'8 Angeleigh Davis has great ball handling and shooting skills. Very quick off the dribble with the ability to hit the perimeter shot.
Hays Lady Rebels 2nd place

2011 F 5'9 Forward Monique Mc Elveen works really well around the basket and plays aggressive defense. The Junior forward has a good understanding of the game and will be a huge impact for the Cardinals.
2011 G 5'6 Jametria Green is quickly becoming a true point guard.Jametria handles the ball very well and really helps get the team out and running. Jametria has good range range from the perimeter and can be a threat from deep.
Lady Cardinals Tourney Champs

The match up between Del Valle & Hays had to be the best of the tournament. Hays who defeated LBJ in a tough match up had their hands full with the cardinals. Del Valle is looking really good at this point in the season and don’t look like they will let up anytime soon. This is a great group of girls with good knowledge of the game, and they are very well coached. The Cardinals did an excellent job over the course of the tourney as they remained poised and focused on their mission. 2010 G 5′3 Joslinn Douglas continues to be a match up problem for most teams. The senior guard is quick off the dribble and has the ability to hit the open man. 2011 F 5′10 Summer Postell works very hard around the basket and is quickly developing the mid range shot. Summer moves very well without the ball and does a great job on the boards. 2011 F 5′9 Monique Mc Elveen plays aggressively around the basket. She did an excellent job in the championship game as she stayed on the boards and had a lot of good put backs. 2010 G 5′5 Jessica Peralez has great range from the perimeter. I have watched the senior knock down shot after shot even under pressure.
