Texas D-1 Ambassadors 2014

Texas D-1 Ambassadors 2014
Head Coach Joseph Dean
It's been a busy time for Team 2014. Playing in the Rawl Cup last weekend was a great experience for our young group of girls. The team had a chance to see players from all across the world right here in Austin, Texas. Teams from Mexico, Chile, Japan, and Norway all attended the 2010  Rawl Cup. Team 2014 went 3-3 losing by 8 in the semi final to the CAS Panthers from New York. This past weekend Team 2014 competed in the Bluebonnet Classic playing JV.

This was a great experience for the young group as they had a chance to be challenged on a high level. The girls went 2-1 with that loss to a tough JV Texas Ambassadors Austin Elite team Coached by Speedy Gregg.

Team 2014 players hanging out with Texas Longhorn Brittney Raven.
Raven came out on Saturday to enjoy a great game between the Ambassadors 8th & 9th grade girls.
Texas Longhorn Guard Brittney Raven Will head to the WNBA this season and will suit up with the Atlanta Dream. I had a chance to talk with Brittney after our game on Saturday. Brittney is very excited about the great opportunity to play basketball on a professional level. As I talked with her she continued to talk about working hard. So I continue to say to all the youngsters out there HARD WORK PAYS OFF. We wish Brittney the best as she gets ready for the 2010 Season.
