It takes a lot of confidence and commitment to turn down a D1 offer. Jonathan Perry of Kerrville Tivy decided against heading to UTEP to head to the East Coast & storied Fork Union Academy. It's a prep school with a legendary basketball coach, great spiritual instruction and academics. However, it's also a place where you can't have a vehicle and very limited cell phone usage including texting. How many of us would be willing sleep on a foam mattress bunkbed to do that?
