CEN TEX LADIES TALENT ON THE RISE

As basketball season quickly approaches, I wanted to share some information on a few young players to watch. The class of 2016 has several talented players that will make a huge impact on their school team this year. 2016 G Madeliena Almanza will be a big time player out at Trinity. Madeliena has good ball handling, passing, and shooting skills. The young skilled player works very hard on both sides of the floor & continues to be a threat to any team she suits up against.

2016 W 5'9 Kianna Ray is one of the brightest prospects in the area. With size & great skills Kianna will be a dominant force in the class of 2016. The young wing player can dribble, shoot, and pass the basketball very well. Kianna has a great mid range shot & will burn you from deep. She will suit up with Bailey Middle School this season & will be a huge impact player. Kianna will be a major prospect in the class of 2016.

2016 G 5'3 Brooke Holle will be an exciting player to watch at West Ridge Middle School. With twin sister 2016 G 5'3 Bailey Holle by her side, this should be an interesting season out at West Ridge. Both girls have great ball handling, passing, & shooting skills. The double trouble duo has great athleticism, coupled with a nice skill set. They both have nice range on their shot, with the ability to attack the basket. Look for Bailey & Brooke to do big things this season for Hill Country.

2016 W 5'8 Maya Sampleton has a really smooth game. Maya will suit up with St. Stephens this under leadership of Coach Talbert Berry & should make a huge impact on that team. Maya has nice footwork around the basket with great ball handling & shooting skills. With her size & skill set  Maya will be very tough to guard  & will dominate most players. Maya's Pops, Big Lawrence Sampleton used to wreak havoc with QB's on the gridiron when he suited up for the Philadelphia Eagles, back in the day.
