Coaches, Parents & Players.
It gives me great pleasure (along with a case of nerves) to announce the creation of the long anticipated Texas Basketball Inc. Network. We will be audio streaming our inaugural game this coming Friday, January 30th. We'll be at Austin Lake Travis where the host Cavaliers currently ranked #1 in Texas 4A v. the Killeen Runnin' Roos. Lake Travis is 23-1and is led by 6'5" WG Jordan Jahr who has inked with Air Force, while Killeen High is ranked #8 and boasts big time Baylor signee 6'9" P Cory Jefferson. Both are Texas McDonald's All American nominees.
Myself and former Mercer University player Lance Carter will be handling the play by play and color commentary. It should be a great game between two teams that are deep and who have two marquee names in the lineup. The contrast between the two summer team mates with the Texas D-1 Ambassadors will be interesting as Jefferson, the big time shot blocker who will dunk on you down low has increased his range and will also hoist up a three given the opportunity. Jahr on the other hand can make a living outside but is not afraid to get in there and get his share of boards as well.
Texas Basketball Inc. will be audio streaming games during the course of the year and in short order will add video streaming as well. We'll continue on to add video streaming to our upcoming All American Prodigy Camp on March 14-15th in Austin and then in some championship games of our tournaments which will start up in earnest in the month of February.
Online registration is available for all events. They will fill up! The Prodigy Camp is limited to 20 players per Class Year. All info is at www.texasbasketballinc.com
