District 25 5A Feature Games:
San Marcos 48  New Braunfels 42
Steele 77  Seguin 42

(R) 2011 G 5'8 Rebekah Knudson of New Braunfels got major skills.. The 5'8 senior guard has great ball handling, passing, and shooting skills. She’s a good on ball defender with great footwork. One of the most impressive things about Knudson is her high passion and respect for the game. Rebekah has tremendous speed and quickness with the ability to go right by most defenders. She has excellent leadership skills with a high commitment to the game. She has several schools in the hunt and will definitely be an asset player at the next level.

(R) 2014 G 5'9 Mc Kenzie Calvert of Steele High School is an exceptional player with a bright future. The true freshman showed she can run with the big dogs. Calvert is a true combo guard with excellent ball handling, passing, and shooting skills. One of the things that impress me about Calvert is her ability to attack the rim. Look for Calvert to be a major prospect in the class of 2014.

New Braunfels Lady Unicorns

(L) 2012 G 5'10 Tabatha Richardson-Smith of Seguin is having an excellent season. Tabby averages 19 points per game and 10 rebounds. Tabby has really improved her game over the last year and continues to be a major player for the Matadors. She has great ball handling skills with the ability to get to the rack. Tabby has nice range from the perimeter. She can also burn you from deep as she has great elevation on her shot. Look for Tabby to be a nice D-1 prospect in the class of 2012. Tabby will suit up with the Texas D-1 Ambassadors Flagship Team this Spring & Summer.

(R) 2012 G 5'4 Elena Gumbs of Steele High School is an  impressive player. Elena consistently communicates  on both ends of the floor every as she helped her team to victory. She showed exceptional leadership and continues to be a major player for Steele.

Churchill 63  Johnson 46
Regan 50  Madison 42

(R ) 2013 W Sabrina Berry of Regan is very explosive. Berry has a nice touch on her shot with the ability to put the ball on the floor and attack the basket. Berry has adequate size with great athleticism. Sabrina is definitely a next level player and will continue to do great things in the future.

(L)  2013 Carly Truesdale is an effective young scorer with loads of next level potential. Carly received honors from the San Antonio Express a few months ago as she was player of the week and received the game ball award. Carly earned first team All District as a freshman and continues to be a major impact player for the Lady Chargers. With several D-1 school on the hunt look for Carly's stock to increase as we head into the Spring & summer seasons.

San Antonio Churchill Lady Chargers

(L) 2012 G 5'8 Jordan Holub of Churchill has a nice smooth game. Jordan has excellent range on her shot, and doesn't mind attacking the basket. Jordan has good skills, knows how to run a team and will be an asset at the next level. Jordan added 15 in the win against Johnson

(R) 2014 G Re'cee Caldwell of Johnson is a high quality player with excellent skills. Caldwell has superior ball handling, passing, and shooting skills. One of things I like most about Caldwell is her ability to get teammates involved and her aggressive play at the basket.
