Georgetown 58  Pflugerville 50
Two of the top teams in the state did battle in Pflugerville last night.

(L) 2011 C Krystal Forthan of Georgetown showed total domination. The LSU signee dropped 16 points and added 12 rebounds. Forthan is a beast around the basket.

(R) 2014 G Taliyah Brooks of Pflugerville added 9. Brooks is a very athletic guard with loads of next level potential. Brooks is a good on ball defender with nice speed and footwork. Coaches should definitely keep the radar up on her.

Akins 64  Bowie 47
(L) 2011 W Danille Lofton of Akins lead all scorers with 27. Lofton is playing excellent basketball right now. She continues to be dominant for the Eagles and should do great things as a next level player.

(R) 2013 G Kendra King of Bowie added 17. Kendra is a nice smooth guard with great skills. King has great range from the perimeter with nice moves to the basket. Look for Kendra to be a nice prospect in the class of 2013.

(L) 2013 G Nai-Jai Taylor of Bowie has tremendous speed. Nai-Jai was very impressive against the Lady Eagles. Taylor has nice ball handling, passing, and shooting skills. One of the things I liked most about her is the willingness to attack the basket. Taylor has nice defensive footwork with loads of next level potential.

(R) 2012 C Shelby Dixon of Bowie is a force in the middle. Standing at 6'4 with a nice frame, Shelby definitely will be an asset at the next level. Dixon moves well in the paint and continued to alter shots as Akins attacked the basket. Coaches should should keep their eyes on this one, as she continues to develop her skill.

Del Valle 39  Anderson 37
(L) 2011 P Monique Mc Elveen of Del Valle continues to be a major impact player. Moe suited up with the D-1 Ambassadors and will continue her career as she has signed with East Texas Baptist University. Moe added 14 in the win over Anderson last night.

(R) 2014 W 5'10 Saundra  Guillory continues to show major improvement. The freshman varsity starter notched 10 against the cardinals and added tons of rebounds. Saundra plays for me during the spring & summer months and I am looking forward to coaching her again. Guillory is definitely making an impact at Anderson and will be a major prospect in the class of 2014.

Hendrickson 79  Manor 69 (OT)
Vista Ridge 60  Marble Falls 27
(L) 2011 W 5'11 Kathryn Tolbert of Hendrickson dropped 32 points on Manor. Tolobert hit a 3 pointer at the buzzer to take this game into overtime. Kathryn has strong interest from several schools and will be signed soon to play at the next level.

(R) 2012 G Gabby Moore of Vista Ridge runs the point very effectively. Moore is a nice point guard with good skills. She continues to be an asset player for Vista Ridge and will do great things in the years to come. Moore is undersized but definitely a next level player.

Hays 47  lockhart 36
(L) 2012 G Shannon peace of Hays lead all scorers with 15. Shannon is a nice Pg with good skills. Shannon is definitely an assest player for the Rebels and will continue to do good things.

(R) 2012 W Nicole Alcantara of Hays added 4. Nicole has nice size with the ability to be aggressive at the basket. Look for Nicole to continue being an impact player for hays.
