High School Round Up: Monday, January 10th

San Antonio Reagan 61  San Antonio MacArthur 57
With Air Force signee Max Yon nursing a sore back, Senior combo guard 6'3" Tre Demps (Northwestern) took San Antonio Reagan on his back in a big 26-5A matchup.  Demps had 35 points and 7 rebounds.  Mac was led by 2012 G Matt Gramling with 17, and 2011 P Jayce Amaro (Texas Tech-football) had 13 points and double digit rebounds in the loss.
Tre Demps (Northwestern) led Reagan to a big District win
San Antonio Taft 58  San Antonio Clark 39
Clark has sprung a leak offensively the past few games and are struggling a tad, while Taft shows that when they get a lead with their 4 guard set they are very tought to guard once they spread the floor.  2011 Josh Linson ( 20 points) hit six from beyond the arc in the 2nd half to blow the game open.  I have an insider telling me he's also Top 20 in his class academically.  Kudos!

San Antonio Churchill 78  San Antonio Madison 61
The firm of Lammert & Lammert ( Senior Clark: 15 pts & Junior Connor 13 pts) enabled Churchill to cruise to the W vs. Madison.

Del Valle 52  Hutto 46
Karim York (Santa Clara) had 20 to lead the Cardinals over a tough Hutto squad.

San Antonio Warren 76  San Antonio Brandeis 68
Warren was led by a pair of Juniors; WG Jerel Ellis with 19 and F Taurean Prince-Waller who had 15 and controlled the boards.  Brandeis continues to get superior play out of 2013 youngster Justin Graham who had 28 in the loss.
2012 F Taurean Prince-Waller of Warren
San Antonio Stevens 49  San Antonio Marshall 43
2012 WG Uche Ofoegbu led the way with 19 in the win.
Stevens Uche Ofoegbu is on the radar, including that of the University of Miami
San Antonio O'Connor 51  San Antonio Holmes 32
Senior Adrian Lozano had 15 points while 2013 G Dapo Ogunfeitimi broke out for 11 in the win.

Kerrville Tivy 51  Medina Valley 31
