Top Combine Performers Girls Class of 2015

Top Left: Brittany Leonard
Right JaPreece Dean
Bottom Left: Kennedy Harris

2015 W 5'5" Kennedy Harris of Austin has a 5'9" wingspan. Athleticism just oozes out of this youngster as she completed her 20 yd dash in 3.29, 19.7" vertical and a 74" standing broad jump. Like most of the girls, she seemed quite attentive to coaching and was a whirlwind on the floor during the scrimmages. Look for Kennedy to be a success in whatever sport she chooses to pursue.

2015 G 5'2" Japreece Dean of Austin was a shooter deluxe at our camp. Hitting 9 of 10 shots in the Hot Shot Competition in a time of 38:28 Japreece had only two other shooters in the camp who remotely appraoched her score and time. Those two boys were in the Class of 2010 and 2011! She has a smooth release, making her dangerous shooting the ball from any spot on the floor. Ballhandling was superior with her left and right hand, as well as her court vision. Her 20 yard time of 3.08 was tops in the Class of 2015 as was her vertical leap of 21.7". In fact, it wasn't until the Class of 2013 Boys where someone exceeded her vertical.
2015 G 5'0" Brittany Leonard of San Antonio didn't score particularly well in the measurable events, but I was impressed by the fact that she was coachable, had a good understanding of the game and was an above average shooter. As a coach's daughter, expect her to be a "gym rat" who keeps working to get better.
