Austin Games Of Note

Austin Westlake 72 Pflugerville 63. Cody Doolin (below)scored 18 points & led Westlake to their first District title in 6 seasons. In the process Doolin became the all time leading scorer for the Chaps with over 2000 points passing up other prominent Westlake basketball alumni such as Chris Mihm (NBA), Luke Axtell (Kansas) and Brad Buchman the former Texas Longhorn now playing overseas.
2011 G Deon Mitchell led Pflugerville with 21 points in the loss. Pflugerville will face a first round matchup with San Antonio MacArthur.
Austin Reagan 76 Dripping Springs 70. 2011 G Brandon Golden led resurgent Reagan with 21 points while Daniel Alexander (Texas A&M) had 18 for Drip.
Austin LBJ 97 Austin Crockett 58 As sure as death and taxes, Coach Freddie Roland's crew bagged another District 26-4A title. Like a dummy, I bet against him thinking this was Reagan's year. Great job Coach! LBJ was led by 2010 G Donald Dallas with 20 points.
Austin Bowie Austin Anderson 51 Bowie was led by 2010 P Deandre Perry (Below). Bowie rolls into the playoffs with the Austin area's best record of 27-4. However, they finished 2nd in District 25-5A, possibly the deepest collection of teams in the State (behind Austin Westlake). They're headed for a 1st round matchup vs. San Antonio Churchill.
