Round Rock Stony Point 58 Round Rock 54

In a foul plagued game tonight, Round Rock Stony Point jumped out to a 10 point lead early and held that edge for the majority of the game.  It was only in the last few minutes, when the Tigers couldn't hit free throws to ice the game that the Dragons got it within three points.  That's where it ended though as SP held on for the win.

Stony Point was led by 2011 6'7" Joel Devastey who finished with 18 points and 5 rebounds.  With Temple College Coach Kirby Johnson looking on, Devastey sank several nice 10-15 foot jumpers in addition to finishing layups down low.  2013 F 6'8" Dominic Woodson added 11 points (9 of them coming from the free throw line) & 10 rebounds in the win.  Senior G Xavier Callis was the only player on either side who was a legit perimeter threat as he finished with 14 points, including three triples.

Senior F Levelt Francois led Round Rock with 17 points and Senior P Zac Chambers added 10 points in the loss.  2013 P 6'10" Leonard Allen could never get in a groove as he sat most of the first half with two fouls and then in the blink of an eye fouled out on a couple of ticky tacks with 5:45 left to play in the 3rd quarter.
